the language of love
jennifer and i talked about this the other day, which was interesting because i had never heard of the idea. According to this book, the five love languages, there are different ways that people express and receive love.
Whether you’re a spouse, a parent, or a single, the five love languages are the same:
1. Words of Affirmation
2. Receiving Gifts
3. Quality Time
4. Acts of Service
5. Physical Touch
Finding out what kind of love language the people closest to you speak is pretty smart because you can then show them that you actually do care in a way that they appreciate most. im not saying that they dont appreciate other acts of kindness, but think about how great it is when someone does that one special thing for you. *ahh* sooo nice.
in order to help, i rooted around on the net and found a little quiz that you can take to kinda get an idea of your love language. just go to: what’s your love language?
the rankings of the other 4 for me are:
2. receiving gifts
3. words of affirmation
4. acts of service
5. physical touch.
so go on and take the quiz, then let me know what your love language is! [aww, how cute...that rhymed...haha]
